Emma contacted me and a few other photo and travel lovers to take part in a little photo challenge, to share some of our favourite travel quotes with some of our favourite photos. I was going to chose a variety of photos from different places, but I’m so in love with my Iceland ones right now, I decided to use them instead.
For this photography Friday, I present to you the Icelandic horses! Some are friendly, almost all have epic hair do’s. I probably got more excited than we should as we drove across Iceland and I squealed and pointed out every group of horses we saw. Which was a lot. We stopped a couple times to say hi and give them a nuzzle because you can’t just ignore them when they are near the road.
I love this place. Lord Hurst’s is my favourite place to spend an afternoon having an unpretentious afternoon tea served by the nicest people. I went a few weeks ago to help them set up some social network sites and take some pictures and thought I’d share a few.CONTINUE READING
Our second day in Iceland saw us heading to Myvatn in North Iceland. When we checked into where we were staying I got super excited about all the sheep and cows around. Turns out they milk the cows twice daily and you can go and watch them and have a really good coffee from the cafe.
