Over the weekend Sarah told me there was a Christmas market and reduced admission to Yorkshire Wildlife park, so as a last minute effort realising it wasn’t raining Sunday, Adam and I headed out. The rain free day was very short lived, it started raining while we were on our way, but we didn’t give up and I’m glad we didn’t because apparently the animals are quite lively in the rain!
I went to Germany! In case you didn’t know. I left last Thursday and came back on Monday. I was there visiting family friends who happen to be living in the cutest German town, and happy accident, I was going to be there during Oktoberfest! So of course we went, but this time to the one in Stuttgart as it was close to where they live.
Even though it was a month ago now, I wanted to share a few photos from our niece Matilda’s Christening. I use this blog as a way to document little things that go on in my life, and I couldn’t not include this cute little ones party.
The weekend before I left, we had some people over for an impromptu fire and busted out some sparklers so I could attempt my first light trail photography. I really loved how these turned out, especially for a first attempt.CONTINUE READING
