While visiting the Lake District for the day, we knew we wanted to take a boat trip. I mentioned before that we found the perfect trip for us from Ambleside since we only had about five hours, and the first stop was Wray Castle. Originally we had planned to just stay on the boat till the next stop, but I’m glad we decided at the last minute to get off and look at this impressive place.
Last Friday we decided to drive to the Lake District to soak up some sun, which is pretty rare around those parts I’m told. It was my first trip and Adam’s mom suggested Ambleside, a small town at the northern tip of Lake Windermere. 
When we decided to go Whitby, we looked for things to do around it that we may not have done before. A quick google search later and we found out there was a waterfall called Foss Falls. So armed with google maps we set off to look for it.
Saturday we decided to have a day trip in the city we live in and attend the Doncaster Beer Festival. We’ve missed this the past couple of years because of things going on, so needless to say I made sure we put it on the calendar and kept the day free.
