Just a quick little update. Well last week was exciting, what with the whole sink debacle. Hey ho, sink is in now and look at it! Soooo much bigger and better than our last one. No Leaks yet either, successes all around. We also came home with a plant in an attempt to add more greenery into the house slowly. We shall try and keep this one alive.
This weekend was spent eating BBQ food and watching comedy. Friday night it was two of our friends birthdays so we went for dinner and to Comedy club night, which was the strangest one I’ve been to, and the last act, not amazing.It was all right though, our friend Luke introduced me to Iliza Shlesinger who has two comedy act shows on Netflix, and we watched both of them twice over the weekend. Obsessed with her. If you want a pick me up and a laugh, go watch her. I will be busy showing everyone who comes over so that they can get the inside jokes we now have.
I’ve finished reading the River of London series by Ben Aaronovich, well, finished what’s written up until now anyway. I’m starting The Book Thief next because apparently it’s really good and everyone has read it but me. Any other book recommendations greatly appreciated!
