Since we bought blueberries for pancakes, I made blueberry oatmeal loads last week. Exciting things as usual.
I dried a couple of roses that were especially pretty from my birthday bouquet Adam’s dad kindly gave me, and now they have a new spot on my desk. I love the look of dried flowers.
Saturday it was sunny for a change, and Adam and I were itching to go exploring somewhere, anywhere. I looked up National Trust properties within two hours of our house, and we decided on Tattershall Castle, because, well, castle! It was nice to get back out and learn some things, but oh man was it cold. Don’t go to a cold ruiney castle when it’s cold, wait till it gets warmer.
Sunday night Adam had gotten us tickets to go see Paul Foot, and English comedian that I didn’t know much about but that I’d remembered seeing on the comedy chat and quiz shows. He was so funny though, I’d totally go see him again! The end of the show was hilarious, as it never really properly ended because he kind of kept coming back to the microphone to say things, and he just seemed to kind of awkwardly be like, “seriously, this has to end now, no more, start leaving”. We waited in line for Adam to get a CD and got a picture with him and he was just cracking jokes the whole time. Such a good ending to the weekend. It did make getting up this morning a lot harder though knowing it was Monday again.
