Just in case you didn’t know… so there has been a whole lot of wrapping going on in this house, and is it grinchy to say I can’t wait for it to be over so I can get my house back? It’s wall to wall presents, wrapping paper, and other various Christmassy things. There’s strategic footpaths through the mess, it’s gotten that out of control.

Friday night we went to our friend’s Steve and Danielle’s house for a friends Christmas dinner. It was such a nice night filled with great food, company, presents and games. We all brought little gifts for each other to open and it was a great night. The games bit was the funniest, as we learned Adam is a PRO at charades (or so he thinks). He was great at sculpting things out of the play-dough for the sculpting bit of the game though, that artsy boy of mine. Danielle did an amazing job decorating their tree too, it looks professional!

This weekend has been pretty laid back, popped into town yesterday for some last minute bits and for Adam to get a haircut. It’s the shortest he’s ever had it I think. Today I’m planning on watching Dexter and getting in lots of kitty snuggles. It’s nice to have a low key weekend every now and again, but I’ve got itchy feet to get some exploring done!
