I was super click happy at the street art in Reykjavik. I normally hunt out street art to photograph, but I was in awe of some of the detail and artistry that went into beautifying buildings in Iceland. There are some seriously talented people in this small city, as evidenced by the artwork on and off the streets.
Having a young neice means excuses for days out when we watch her. A few weeks ago it was sunny and semi-warm so we took DG to the Yorkshire Wildlife park. We are no strangers, but it’s the first time she could go and run around, and run around she did.
Ambleside is probably one of the most well known towns in the Lake District as it’s at the end of Windermere, it’s really picturesque, and filled with cute shops and cafes. It was raining the day we went around it, and as I wasn’t prepared I had to buy a rain coat first thing. Three of the five of us bought rain coats though, so I wasn’t the only one!CONTINUE READING

Last weekend I went on a girls trip to the Lake District, and loved the place we stayed in. It was properly in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains. Hills? I never know.
