Ok, so I’ve already been to Stonehenge a couple of years ago, BUT when my friend Maggie came to visit and really wanted to go, who was I to say no to a repeat visit? I mean, since I’d already taken loads of pictures I scaled them down and just soaked in the atmosphere this time around. To my surprise and extreme delight they had re-done the path around the stones to actually allow you to get closer to them than I had before. While visiting the Lake District for the day, we knew we wanted to take a boat trip. I mentioned before that we found the perfect trip for us from Ambleside since we only had about five hours, and the first stop was Wray Castle. When we decided to go Whitby, we looked for things to do around it that we may not have done before. A quick google search later and we found out there was a waterfall called Foss Falls. So armed with google maps we set off to look for it.
What do you do when the sun is out in England? Head to the seaside! (and say a little thanks to the clouds above). So we headed to Whitby last weekend, took a boat trip on our favourite boat, and strolled around in the sunshine. CONTINUE READING
