“Let’s rent a paddle boat” they said. “It will be fun” they said. Until your legs are so tired they feel like they will fall off, you’ve almost gotten hit by ten boats that are bigger than you and your boat is starting to fill with water. Aside from that, you should DEFINITELY rent a paddle boat in Amsterdam.
Remember me? I’ve been around a little on Instagram and even less so on Twitter, but not on this blog. I just haven’t been able to bring myself to sit down at the computer and edit photos and blog when our house has been in shambles. We’ve been working pretty hard to finally put our stamp on it a year later, and we are also finally seeing results. Hooray! Never undergo major structural work while thinking you can paint/do anything anywhere else. The. dust. never. leaves.We have now almost finished off our dining room and I can’t actually wait to share pictures on here. We even laid the floor ourself! Without crying too much! Success!
I’m back to talking about Amsterdam! For today that is. I know it’s been a while since we went, but I could’t not share our trip to the Heineken Experience. It seemed only fitting since my best friend Maggie was the one who got me into Heineken, that it was with her that we went to where it all started.
Amsterdam is amazing. I’m sure if you know anyone who has been there, you’ve probably heard those words before. I had no idea how much I’d love this quirky city, but love it I did. The coolest thing was finding art in so many different forms and all over the city. The people of Amsterdam have made their city their own beautiful canvas. CONTINUE READING
