I have still never been to Disney World. I’ve wanted to go soooo badly for as long as I can remember, but when it came time to decide on a family vacation when I was a senior in high school, a cruise won out. Totally not complaining, that was amazing too. When I went to visit my friend Amanda in California, and we were faced with a choice for free passes to Disneyland for the day, we decided to regress a few years and were like kids in a candy shop.
Saturday we took advantage of the nice weather and met Adam’s sister and niece at East Riddleston Hall in West Yorkshire which is a National Trust property. It took just over an hour to get there and with the sun shining it was a great morning drive. Whilst there the sun played hide and seek with us but was gloriously warm on our faces when it made an appearance. CONTINUE READING
I’ve wanted to share this house we went to for a while, but couldn’t think of the name! I searched everywhere for pictures that were similar to mine so I could figure out what this amazing house was called, but wasn’t having any luck. Finally I googled “country houses with bright blue furniture” and found pictures of the pretty blue interior. I found out this place we liked so much is called Kedleston Hall. CONTINUE READING
Last year we headed to Scarborough as I’ve wanted to go absolutely ages. Our first stop (and main objective for the day) was Scarborough Castle, up on top of a huge hill. Now, if you are expecting a grand building, this one is not for you as it is literally a bit of the castle walls and a tower. If it’s the views that you are wanting, you can’t get much better.
