One of my best friends from University came up to visit with his boyfriend while I was home, and one of our other best friends from University was camping near me from Long Island so we all got together, went to some wineries and then went chasing waterfalls. That’s what you do in the Finger Lakes, which is why I encourage you all to visit.
When my Grandpa mentioned about wanting to go to the New York State fair, I invited myself along, and my cousin came too. Family trip to the fair! Just like old times. The fair is held at the Syracuse fair grounds every year, which is just over an hour away from where I grew up in the Fingerlakes.
So I haven’t been to this little space in two weeks. I was enjoying the rest of my time in New York and then settling back into my normal routine in England. Think I’m settled after a busy week and ready to tackle things that I’ve been meaning to do. Such as catch up on blog posts for a start! Here’s a few snaps from home, with a few more to come.

For the past 7 or so years my parents have made the trek to Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania to attend a rodeo. I had always either been traveling or had to work but last year on my trip home it just happened to coincide with the rodeo so I could go. Needless to say I made sure that my trip home this year overlapped too!
