Life Lately #79
I’m going to start this post by saying there will be no Christmas decorating going on in my house until after Thanksgiving, it’s the rule! Phew. Glad to get that off my chest. Also I have to keep telling myself this as I’m itching to put them out to feel festive, damn the stores looking all pretty and twinkly and Christmassy already. Life Lately #77
I’ve got all sorts of exciting new things to share here! I’ll just do a roundup for now, full posts coming later when I have a chance to edit photos. A couple weekends ago on Saturday I went to Manchester for an event with Jet2 to learn about some of their holiday destinations. We all got glittered up, liquored up, and told about some awesome places to go that I never would have thought to book before. After the event a few of us went to Byron for food, and I finally got the bloody mary I’d wanted to cure my hangover from the night before. It was meh, but the mac and cheese and courgette fries hit the spot. I then went home and dreamt about all the beauty places I wanted to holiday at. CONTINUE READING
Life Lately #76
Well I did it, I entered a boxing ring, boxed, and by some miracle actually won! Also miraculously, no injuries, even by my own hand. Didn’t knock myself out (as I almost did several times in training) or fall and break a bone. Success! Overall the Doncaster Ultra White Collar Boxing even raised over £17,500 for Cancer Research UK, and my lovely family, friends and other supporters helped me personally raise £685 for the cause. It was a high like no other and I’m definitely planning on doing it again next year, even with boxing shorts being the most unflattering piece of clothing there ever was. CONTINUE READING
