When we decided to go Whitby, we looked for things to do around it that we may not have done before. A quick google search later and we found out there was a waterfall called Foss Falls. So armed with google maps we set off to look for it.
Michael informed us that the National Space Centre was having a Lego weekend this past weekend, so we took that as a pretty good reason to go on Saturday. Lego and space? Saturday we grabbed Michael and drove through Derbyshire to a small town called Buxton. It’s a really cute town with loads going on around the big park in the center. They did love their bunting as well it seemed, which I didn’t mind.CONTINUE READING
Saturday we decided to have a day trip in the city we live in and attend the Doncaster Beer Festival. We’ve missed this the past couple of years because of things going on, so needless to say I made sure we put it on the calendar and kept the day free.
I mentioned in my last post, that after we had toured Sudbury Hall, we headed next door on the grounds to the Museum of Childhood. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised with the interesting history of toys through the ages, and recognising a few of my favourites. CONTINUE READING
