While visiting the Lake District for the day, we knew we wanted to take a boat trip. When we decided to go Whitby, we looked for things to do around it that we may not have done before. A quick google search later and we found out there was a waterfall called Foss Falls. So armed with google maps we set off to look for it.
Saturday we decided to have a day trip in the city we live in and attend the Doncaster Beer Festival. We’ve missed this the past couple of years because of things going on, so needless to say I made sure we put it on the calendar and kept the day free.
I mentioned in my last post, that after we had toured Sudbury Hall, we headed next door on the grounds to the Museum of Childhood. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised with the interesting history of toys through the ages, and recognising a few of my favourites. CONTINUE READING
