Copenhagen surprised me, again and again. With not knowing what to expect, I was rewarded with interesting architecture, colourful buildings, everything within walking distance, and a castle in a park right near the city centre. I’d never heard of Rosenborg Castle, and if we didn’t stumble upon the royal palace we might not have visited. Adventures In :: Copenhagen
The good thing about now knowing that much about Copenhagen before we went meant that we didn’t plan much, and mainly wandered around the city. I could happily just hang out in Copenhagen any time, ducking in for coffee and an open faced sandwich every now and again. It’s just one of those really nice cities to walk around. It’s pretty compact, meaning you’re normally only about 30-45 minutes walk away from where you want to go. Adventures In :: Copenhagen – Seeing the City By Boat
When we visited Copenhagen, I didn’t really know much about the city other than everyone who had been loved it. Good enough for me! Whenever we travel and there’s an option to take a boat tour, we take one. In the case of Amsterdam we’ve been twice. I will never not want to go on a boat. So after a day of wandering and sore feet, we hopped on the last tour boat of the day to see Copenhagen from the water. CONTINUE READING
