Photography Friday #9

March 14, 2014

When we went to Los Angeles I had mixed feelings about it. I expected glamour and glitz but what we mainly saw was a lot of run down buildings and ruin. Adventures In :: California – Disneyland

March 11, 2014

I have still never been to Disney World. I’ve wanted to go soooo badly for as long as I can remember, but when it came time to decide on a family vacation when I was a senior in high school, a cruise won out. Photography Friday #8

March 7, 2014

I found some long lost pictures! Well, not horrible long ago, a few years, but I thought they were wiped out with my laptops last hissy fit. Turns out I had just “sorted” them into a folder that didn’t make a lot of sense on my external hard drive. There’s me trying to be organised again, yikes.CONTINUE READING

These two have been thick as thieves today chasing These two have been thick as thieves today chasing each other round the house, cornering ants and looking for birds in the window. Sometimes they want nothing to do with each other (well, Claude wants to get away from Remy) so it’s cute when they pal around.

On the opposite side to the amenities at Clumber Park there is a huge woodland with seemingly unlimited different paths you can take. We are so lucky to have this gorgeous place to close by.

Absolutely over the moon with our new kitchen isla Absolutely over the moon with our new kitchen island worktop and tap combo (swipe for the very fiery before). We also got a new bin unit behind it and used the same piece of wood. It just brightens up the kitchen and makes it feel more homey! Now to get rid of that wallpaper...

No it’s not Stonehenge, it’s The Druids temple No it’s not Stonehenge, it’s The Druids temple (or William Danby’s folley) in Ripon. It’s said that wealthy landowner William Danby hired local workers to build this not so prehistorical stone circle to help with unemployment in the area. It’s set on the grounds of Swinton Estate with some walking paths with sweeping views over a reservoir and the valley. There’s also amazingly cute cabins we want to stay in once we are able to again!
