I thought I’d written about going to the Tower of London before, but apparently I haven’t. If you haven’t been yet, go! I love it, and when Maggie and Craig came in October I used them as an excuse to go for a second time.
I’m back to talking about Amsterdam! For today that is. I know it’s been a while since we went, but I could’t not share our trip to the Heineken Experience. It seemed only fitting since my best friend Maggie was the one who got me into Heineken, that it was with her that we went to where it all started.
When we went to Bath, it was only for a few hours on a bus trip, and we weren’t even going to go to one of the biggest tourist destinations, the Roman Baths. I’m glad we changed our mind though because it’s been one of my favourite things I’ve seen in England.CONTINUE READING
Ok, so I’ve already been to Stonehenge a couple of years ago, BUT when my friend Maggie came to visit and really wanted to go, who was I to say no to a repeat visit? I mean, since I’d already taken loads of pictures I scaled them down and just soaked in the atmosphere this time around. To my surprise and extreme delight they had re-done the path around the stones to actually allow you to get closer to them than I had before. Soooo, I was planning on sharing these photos on Friday, but then Adam’s older sister had her baby! So I was on babysitting duty for our up to then youngest niece since she had a high temperature and it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to take a sick baby to meet the brand new baby.
