Well, it’s been over a month because I’ve been busy adventuring in-between working. We went to Amsterdam the end of January for my birthday and let’s just say I needed a vacation from my vacation as we drank and ate all of the things. So all in all a perfect long weekend with friends.CONTINUE READING
Staying Overnight at Peckforton Castle
Don’t all best laid plans start with researching how it’s possible to stay overnight in a castle? They do when your as castle obsessed as I am. We wanted a little getaway weekend, not too expensive, not too far away. I’m always looking on deal sites and one I never really looked to closely at as most of the holidays didn’t actually seem very “deal” like was Secret Escapes. This was where I found an amazing deal last year though to go stay overnight in a castle, with dinner and breakfast buffet included. Let’s face it though, I was sold at STAY IN A CASTLE.CONTINUE READING
Adventures In :: England – Clovelly Village
We made our way to Clovelly Village through winding narrow countryside roads and giving way to tractors. It took us almost an hour to make a 20 mile journey! I’d never heard of Rosenborg Castle, and if we didn’t stumble upon the royal palace we might not have visited. I’m so glad we had time to go because it was one of my favourite things we did.CONTINUE READING

I could happily just hang out in Copenhagen any time, ducking in for coffee and an open faced sandwich every now and again. It’s just one of those really nice cities to walk around. It’s pretty compact, meaning you’re normally only about 30-45 minutes walk away from where you want to go. As we stayed right next to the train station, we had a great base to start from every day.CONTINUE READING
