When we went on our Lake District holiday we chose to stay at Brockwood Hall because Bev got a discount through her work. It was such a great place to stay I’m so glad we found it. It had a pool and sauna in a separate building, restaurant and bar on site, and lots of lodges to choose from. We lucked out and got one with pretty great views over the mountains.

A few peacocks roamed the property, but tended to convene around the pool house.

The staff were really helpful at the hall as well, the only hiccup is that no one mentioned that a code was needed to get into the pool house, so we all got there and I had to go back to the lodge to get the code. We had dinner at the restaurant one night (booking advisable as it can get booked up) and the food was delicious! So if you don’t feel like cooking on your holiday, you can rest assured that you can get a good meal in the Hall. Would I go back? 100% yes, I’m already looking for a free weekend.
