I’m well and truly on the Christmas bandwagon now that the house is decorated. I can’t get enough of all things Christmas. Give me mulled wine and all the decorations. We went and got our tree Monday night, but didn’t get it up until Wednesday due to a couple tree stand mishaps. Don’t leave your tree stand to the elements, it will rust and become unusable. Friday we headed to Lincoln and I wish it was Christmas market weekend every weekend there, it’s so festive. I finally managed to get a chunk of Christmas shopping done Saturday, does anyone else find it really hard to think of what to get people as you get older? Everyone just buys what they want all the time. I met Sarah in town and our afternoon of shopping quickly turned into an afternoon of drinking when we went to our favourite haunt the Marketplace Alehouse for “coffee”. All the best intentions of having a coffee and getting back to shopping were put aside for a German board of meats and cheeses. Four ales later we said our goodbyes, ooops. There are definitely worse ways to pass a Saturday. Sunday was super uneventful and we finally fixed our dining room door so that it closes. Home owner excitement right there.
I feel excited about blogging again, and have even edited my pictures for my next few posts, check me out! I still have Stonehenge and Bath to share so hopefully I can get them up before the New Year!
