Wednesday night we carved our pumpkins, and I went with Michelangelo, because a) he’s my favourite Ninja Turle, and b) orange pumpkin, duh. Adam came home early one night to put my new desk together, and he’s a winner because that thing was not the smoothest of things to assemble. So plus points to Adam.
Friday night a few of us painted our faces and went out. Luke came up from near Birmingham for the weekend and Sarah decided to join us as well. We ended up going to Cask Corner as they were having their annual Halloween costume competition, and let me tell you, I was seriously impressed by the effort I saw put in by some people! England is normally not amazing at Halloween, but I feel like every year more and more people get into it. One giant dragon claimed that his mom made his amazing dragon onesie, as well as a few other of his Game of Thrones themed friend’s costumes. That woman whom I’ve never met is my new hero and should totally go into costume making. Staying out way to late and drinking craft stout lead to a big hangover and couch day Saturday.
