Since then, it’s been non-stop moving and organising and cleaning the old flat. I can’t wait until we can just go back to normal and enjoy our new space, and oh boy do we now have space! After living in such a little flat before, it feels like we are in a mansion now. And did I mention that it’s OUR HOUSE? Still sinking in.Here are just a few pictures, because to be honest, pictures of an empty house do not do it justice, and are quite boring. We spent Friday and the whole day Thursday moving in. We thankfully have some good people in our lives who offered to help, and Adam’s sister’s fiancee even borrowed a big van from work so we didn’t have to rent one for Friday night to move all the big things. I will tell you this, you can fit a surprisingly amount of things in a mini, but we still probably took about 15 trips in total in it. Good thing the new house is only about a 10 minute drive from the old one. Adam’s dad and our friend Fran also helped with the move, and we are so thankful to them. I’ve never had to move a full house of stuff before, and let me say, I am not in any rush to do it again anytime soon!
If you don’t follow me on social media, then you may not know, we got our house! Last Thursday, after waiting the whole day everything finally went through and we were handed three little keys to our new home. Holy crap, we have a house!
I’ve been a little MIA from the internet world, catching up on little bits on my phone every now and again, so I can’t wait to catch up with what everyone is doing. No rest in the foreseeable future though, this Friday it’s back to London for the weekend with Fran and we are going to see Wicked Saturday night which is exciting. Even more exciting is the reason for the trip which is to bring my best friend Maggie and her boyfriend Craig back on Sunday! They are flying in from NYC into London so I’m meeting them and catching the train back with them. Next Tuesday we head off to Amsterdam for four days, stay in Doncaster for a couple, then go back to London to play tourists together before they go home. It’s going to be a whirlwind couple of weeks but so so fun. I’ve got a lot to catch up on this little blog of mine though, so I’ll still be publishing some posts.
Whew! How’s that for an update? Life is super exciting right now!
