Day two of Secret Garden Party saw us wandering around a lot more and actually spending time at the different stages and tents. One of my favourite places to people watch was the dance off stage, there were some really really incredible dancers! And predictably some not so great, but hey, I’m no dancer but I enjoy it just the same. We did some more people watching at the main stage and loved watching these Wizard of Oz characters play egg and spoon games. In the evening we all went and donned our own Wizard of Oz costumes, with Adam as the scarecrow, myself as the tin(wo)man, and the three Dorothy’s. Scarecrow Dorothy, Mauled by the cowardly lion Dorothy, and Tinman Dorothy.
Saturday night there is a big fireworks spectacular show, and boy is it really spectacular. Get on the hill early to get a good view though! I almost think you’d get a better view on the campsite side of the river as it seemed a lot less crowded. Adam and I then went in search of less dancing and more relaxing, and hung out in this pretty bunting tent for a while and played Hip Hop Bingo. I loved that even at midnight there were things going on everywhere. There’s always something to do, and that was my favourite part of Secret Garden Party. After bingo Adam went back to the tent, and I found the rest of our friends and proceeded to dance my butt off until 4:30 in the morning. Not a bad Saturday if you ask me.
