This week has FLOWN by! I know, that happens a lot. They say when you get older time tends to go a lot quicker, so I guess I better get all my kicks in now.
Life is too short to not make three batches of macaroni and cheese in one week right? Or maybe that would actually shorten my life span…Ok, so maybe we won’t do it every week, but it was a good dinner week. I put chorizo in a batch and I’ve gotta say, I was patting myself on the back for that one.
This weekend was so much fun. Adam and I went to the Marketplace Alehouse to have a couple drinks Friday night, and ended up staying until they closed as we were talking to this really neat guy who was really into his craft ales. We learned a lot from him and hopefully catch him there again sometime.
Saturday we had already planned to go to the Marketplace alehouse to meet some friends so they could try it out as well, and so we could try out their platters. Again what turned into what was supposed to be a quick hangout turned into an all day sesh. Let’s just say by Sunday I thought I’d be dying but I had a surprisingly clear head which was good because I was meeting up with a fellow lifestyle blogger, Sarah. We had planned to meet at Lord Hurst’s, which I love, but they weren’t open! The owners were kind enough though to make us some delicious salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, bring us cake and coffee, and let us hang out on their couches with the dogs all afternoon. It was such a great way to spend a Sunday. Cake, a new friend, puppies, and kind people.
