{Milk bottle weeds // Crash // Cupcake toppers}We have not been buying flowers like we normally do, so I’ve resorted to picking the weeds that our overgrown in our back yard and plopping them in a little milk bottle. Instant colour.
Earlier this week we came home from the gym and saw Crash cuddling the vacuum cleaner, for a cat that spends his life running from it, it was a funny site. This Saturday our niece turns 1! Time has flown by. It’s hard to believe. Her momma is throwing her a tea party and since I’m making mini cupcakes for it, I made some teapot and teacup toppers to stick in them. I’m quite proud of them.

{Lakeside // Jess}This week was sunny and warm despite weather reports calling for rain, so we got in a walk around a man made lake near us. We had never been there even though we drive by it to go to the gym and it’s a lot nicer than I thought.
The weekend was fairly uneventful. I did some shopping for our holiday to Cyprus, and then Saturday night our friend Helen had a birthday BBQ and bonfire at her house. I stayed over and had her little black and white kitten Jess as a snuggle buddy.
This week is going to be a pretty busy one, but this time next Monday I’ll be on a plane to Cyprus for some sun, sand and sea. I’m soooo ready.
