As there’s a few new people around these parts, I just thought I’d explain again that my life lately posts are pictures from my iPhone, some that I’ve put on instagram, others that I’ve taken through the week and compile all here once a week. With that in mind it’s been a busy one!
** I bought new sneakers for the gym since my old ones are reeeeeally old and falling apart. I snagged these Nikes for pretty cheap and they are so comfy.
** Thursday was our friend Michael’s birthday, so we went to jazz night at a local bar and restaurant that does the best cocktails in Doncaster. Michael’s favourite is the skittles cocktail, I think its made up of vodka and lemonade (sprite), not sure what else, all topped off with a heap of skittles. After a few minutes the colour dissolves off the skittles and turns the whole cocktail a murky brown.
** I on the other hand opted to end my night with a bloody mary, with the most veggies I’ve ever seen put in one glass. It’s practically a diet drink with all those vegetables right? I’m gonna go with yes.
{Pulling pork // the cutest baby}

** Friday we had some of Adam’s family over for dinner and made pulled pork tacos, must make those again!
** I got to play with little Darcey-Grace for a while after not seeing her in a couple months, and we even got her to army crawl across the carpet. She’s growing up so fast! I’m pretty sure I say that every time I see her, but it’s true.
{Paintball crew minus Adam // Bruises}

Saturday we got up nice and early to go paint balling. Now, I’ve never been actual paint balling before, but I’ve been shot with them by my brothers in our back yard, so I was prepared for them to hurt. That’s nothing compared to being pelted in the head with no padding but some thin fabric. Injuries aside, it was such a fun day. They split us up onto different teams when we got there so we decided the boys would stick together and the girls would be on the opposite team. Now, you may not know this about me, but I am SUPER competitive. So I was right in there running as fast as I could towards the other team, hiding behind barrels, and snipering them off. Go big or go home right? In the end the team we were on, the blue team (best ever) won against the reds. They boys don’t think we are so bad now and wouldn’t mind being on our team next time!
Have you ever gone paint balling? How long does it take for you to feel normal again? Ouch.
