I will preface this post by reminding you, if you weren’t aware, that I want to go everywhere, and see everything. Unrealistic I’m aware, but I’m a dreamer who sometimes makes my dreams a reality. I mean I never dreamt of visiting half the places I’ve been. With that said, I’ve put together a list of five places I would love to travel to this year, if money and time were no object. I’ve got a whole lot more on my list, but these are at the forefront.
I’ve always wanted to visit Greece since seeing beautiful pictures of blue topped houses among jagged cliff faces and the clear blue water. I’d love a trip to the greek islands, sunning myself on a chartered sailboat while sailing from one island to the next.
Probability of going :: Fairly high if we make it a priority (which I’d like to do, thus the reason it’s at number one on my list)
I want to go to an opera in Vienna so badly! I’ve heard it’s a really pretty city, but other than operas I’m unsure of what there is to offer. I’m always up for discovering new places though and something about Vienna is calling to me.
Probability of going :: Pretty high as Adam wan’t to go too. It’s easier when we are both on board for a trip.
To be honest, Amsterdam was never really on my list of places to go until Adam went recently with his dad. The different shaped houses and picturesque canals have won me over, not to mention it’s got Adam’s stamp of approval of places to go back to so it must be nice. I’d love to take a boat tour along the canals and visit some of the museums on offer.
Probability of going :: Pretty high as there are ton’s of deals on flights and boat trips over.
I’m in love with Giraffes, and to see them in their natural habitat would be incredible, and the elephants, and lions, and all the animals. I’ve had some serious envy from all of Nicole’s posts about going on safari and seeing some giraffes (and the other guys too).
Probability of going :: Unfortunately pretty low, but a girl can dream right?
Ever since discovering Jamie’s blog Ink and Adventure at the beginning of the year, I’ve longed to visit all the beautiful temples she’s snapped photos of and written about. Taiwan is a place I realised I know little about and would love to immerse myself in the culture and spend some time traveling around. It sounds like there are some pretty incredible beaches as well which I’m always game for a good beach.
Probability of going :: Pretty low for this year as it would be a costly endeavour, but I’m thinking in the next few years.I’m linking up with Emma over at Adventures of a London Kiwi and Kelly over at Around the world in 80 pairs of shoes, so head over to her blog to get some more travel ideas.
If money and time were no option, where do you want to adventure to this year?
