This cocktail sounds right up my street with the maple syrup and cayenne. It’s such a change from most cocktail recipes I’ve seen and I definitely want to give it a try.
“Red White and Blue wine spritzer”
Who doesn’t love sangria? You can personalise it with whatever you like, make it with red or white wine, and toss some fruit of your choice in. In keeping with the red white and blue theme this recipe has straberries and blueberries, I think I’d put some watermelon in too. Plus this is easy to make up if you’re having a party as you won’t need to play cocktail maker all night.
This one however you would need to play cocktail maker! Unless you make a pitcher up but since its pure alcohol maybe that shouldn’t be advised…
Who wants a salt or sugar rim when you can have POP ROCKS?! This sounds delicious. It’s very aptly named The Sparkler.
“Red White and Blue layered shot”
What’s a drink list without a shot option? This looks like the tastiest layered shot option I could find, with grenadine, blue curaçao and peach schnapps.
I was going to do a themed post with different foods and what not, but lets face it, red white and blue food is easy, but drinks themed around the 4th of July are a little trickier, so I thought I’d compile some for my future reference as well as your perusal.
Hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend! We are having a celebratory party and BBQ Saturday and crossing our fingers for good weather so we can have our BBQ outside. Throwing an American themed party in England is not as hard as one would think, as luckily our flags are the same colours, so red white and blue a plenty!
