Since spring is meant to be here, I wanted some nice vibrant nails to lift my mood from the coldness that seems to be lingering. Enter a recent purchase, Bourjois 10 day no chip lacquer in ’15’.
My oh my, this polish is a DREAM. As a collector of polishes of varying consistencies and colour, this is quite possibly one of my favourite polishes that I have used in a looong time. Not only was one coat enough to make it completely opaque (I still added a second coat because I’m a creature of habit) the ‘touch up brush’ as it’s called with its unique shape made it possible for me to “paint within the lines” so to speak (I didn’t get as much polish on my fingers as normal). Bourjois seems to be hitting it out of the park with all their lines at the moment, I’m excited to receive a few other goodies I just ordered.
I mentioned before I’m loving my tips matte at the moment, so I used my Nail’s Inc Matte top coat, then added some white dots to ‘spring’ things up a bit.
Tools of the trade pictured above. I’m loving the Nail Art pens I picked up over Christmas, the fine tip is great for doodling on my nails. I think I might have picked mine up at Republic, but I’ve seen them at Paperchase and stores online. The cuticle oil pictured is an Almond oil I picked up from The Body Shop and I think it works a treat.
Even though I’m loving the simplicity of these nails, rooting around in my nail polish drawers (yes that’s right theres two!) I’m already planning my next manicure…
