We went to Worcester (like the sauce!) on Saturday and had a shop and a wander around, and came across a really pretty building with people in various costumes. Turns out they were re-enactors and promoting their “troupes” if you will, so inside the building there were people represented from most eras. I love things like this and get really excited. The three guys in the top left corner dressed up like knights were pretty entertaining and told us stories of the best and worst weapons to use during a battle. Useful stuff obviously. I then wandered around and played a little medieval game on a wooden board with a woman in one of the corners. All in all, pretty cool, and we want to go back when they put on some shows.
This is how Monday’s make me feel…
(Crash hates Monday’s too). Especially after a weekend away with friends to visit another friend. The boy and I and our favourite red headed siblings Bev and Michael, headed to a place outside Birmingham this weekend to visit our friend Luke who we met in New Zealand. I’d love to say we went wild and crazy, but the majority of us were sick, so it was all very low key and nice.(sorry for the crap pictures, I didn’t take my camera so only had the iphone to work with!)
Hope everyone else had a great weekend!
